We’ve got smaller rain chances in the forecast for a few days so if you’re looking for a good time to get outside, Wednesday and Thursday look to be the best days. Both days could still have an isolated shower or storm here or there, but most will stay dry. We have better rain chances in the forecast heading into the holiday weekend.

Tonight is humid but overall mild with temperatures in the low to mid 70s. Clouds are draped over us and we only have a southeast wind about 5-10mph. After 10:00 p.m. our rain chances go down for the night and move more northward. Tomorrow afternoon highs reach the upper 80s and that could spark off a stray shower or storm here and there. A steady stream of moisture coming in from the Gulf keeps humidity, but rain chances will trend lower for the second half of the week, allowing high temperatures to return to the low 90s.

HOLIDAY WEEKEND: Another front and more rain chances may set up for 4th of July weekend. We will be tracking a front that dips into Texas and could provide enough lift to give us some scattered to widespread rain. Best days look to be Friday and Saturday at the moment but that could change based on the speed and/or position of the front in a few days. If you are making outdoor plans for the weekend, it’ll be a good idea to have an indoor backup plan or option.
