CALDWELL, Texas (KBTX) - Four teens are accused of firing a projectile at two students in the Caldwell High School parking lot.

The Burleson County Sheriff’s Office says the incident happened around 1 p.m. Monday afternoon.

Deputies recovered a toy gun identified as a “Splat R Ball” capable of shooting “hydro balls” at high speeds. They say part of the toy was painted black to make it look more realistic.

Two students suffered welts. Now, the sheriff’s office is turning over the evidence to Burleson County District Attorney’s Office to determine what charges the four teens will face.
