Missing Houston area teacher’s car found in New Orleans, still missing

HOUSTON, Texas (KWTX) - Texas Equusearch has released information on a teacher missing from Alvin Independent School District who was last seen Sept. 22.

Michelle Reynolds, 48, is believed to have left her residence in Alvin in a gray, 2018, Lexus NX 300 with license plate RSV-2914.

“The vehicle Michelle was driving has been found in New Orleans, Louisiana,” said Texas Equusearch.

Reynolds is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, 175 pounds, blonde hair and brown eyes. It is unknown what Reynolds was last seen wearing but she may have been wearing black leggings.

Reynolds is a 6th grade Reading and Language Arts in a middle school in the Alvin Independent School District.

Alvin ISD told KTRK:

The safety and security of our students and staff is of utmost importance to Alvin ISD. We were made aware that one of our employees, Michelle Reynolds, has not been heard from since Thursday afternoon. Alvin ISD has reached out to the Reynolds family and has been assisting the family during this difficult time. If you have any information, please contact the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office.
