Rogers, Texas (KWTX) - The Eagles are ready for the 2023 season!

After finishing the season 8-4, the Eagles lost numerous seniors and might need to become experimental.

With only returning four starters, Eagles head coach Charlie Roden says their group of upperclassmen really needs to prove themselves out on the field

“That senior class we had last year, they were tremendous leaders and they worked really hard. We’re going to miss that but they’re going to hafe earn a little bit of that,” said Roden.

One player that Roden found had it figured out was Cooper Sisneroz, the quarterback who stepped up and became a huge asset to the team’s offense.

Sisneroz and along with other returning members are ready to make it back to the playoffs even with the challenges each year can bring.

“We have some challenges in these areas and we feel really good in other areas, so that’s what’s fun about it,” said Roden.
