China Spring senior plays in Hank Aaron Invitational Showcase

WACO, Texas (KWTX) - Dean Hannah, a standout baseball player from China Spring, has learned from some of the best in MLB.

He attended the Hank Aaron Invitational, a diversity-focused baseball development initiative.

As a senior at China Spring and a top baseball prospect, Hannah has been awarded some incredible opportunities. He participated in the MLB Dream Series, and this is his second Hank Aaron Invitational, an event that honors the legacy of the legendary Hall of Famer while also aiming to grow and improve the game.

Dean had a great week in Florida at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex and is now in Atlanta. He competed in the showcase at Truist Park this morning, where only 44 of 120 participants made the cut for the game.

Dean has met some of the biggest names in baseball including Dusty Baker and Ken Griffey Jr. His coaches throughout the week were also former MLB players.
