WILLIAMSPORT, Pennsylvania (KWTX) - The Boerne little league team is heading to the United States Championship game at the Little League Baseball World Series.

The Boerne team is representing the Southwest Region. They defeated Nevada 5-2 on Wednesday afternoon.

Boerne had defeated Florida 4-1 on Monday night and Pennsylvania 9-0 over the weekend.

The team is now 3-0 in Williamsport.

The championship game is on Saturday, August 24.
