‘Big Brother’ contestant Mickey Lee dies at 35 on Christmas Day, family says
(Gray News) - A contestant on the latest season of “Big Brother” has reportedly died this week.
Mickey Lee, who competed on season 27 of “Big Brother” earlier this year, died on Christmas Day, her family shared in a statement.
Loved ones had started a GoFundMe just days prior, sharing that the 35-year-old had suffered multiple cardiac arrests and was in the intensive care unit.

Sadly, her family shared the Atlanta resident’s health update on Friday about her death.
“With profound sadness, the family of Mickey Lee announces her transition on Christmas in the early morning,” the family said.
Loved ones had shared that Lee’s “sudden health crisis” had left her and the family “facing enormous emotional and financial strain” from hospital bills and ongoing care that she was being given.
Family members said she will be remembered for authenticity, strength and spirit.
“Mickey captured the hearts of audiences nationwide through her appearance on Big Brother. She will be remembered for the joy she brought into the lives of so many and for the genuine connections she formed both on and off screen,” the family statement continued.
Loved ones said they extend their deepest gratitude to everyone who offered prayers, love, and support.
“Your kindness has been felt and is sincerely appreciated,” her family shared.
Thousands of fans have sent the family their condolences after the announcement of Lee’s death.
