Sports Reporter
Waco, Texas
Chris Williams joined KWTX in December of 2020 after spending two years covering sports in Nebraska.
Though Chris has never actually lived in the Lonestar state, he has Texas in his blood. His dad was born and raised in San Antonio and played college football at Trinity... his mom spent part of her childhood in El Paso... and his brother, Zac, got his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Baylor.
Before starting his on-air career, Chris attended Chapman University where he was captain of the football team, helping the Panthers win two SCIAC conference championships.
Chris enjoys telling the stories of student athletes and coaches across central Texas.
