Noe Ortega is a Multimedia Journalist for CBS7 News in West Texas, joining the team in June 2022.
Ortega was born and raised in Los Angeles, California.
Right after graduating from California State University, Northridge, he decided to take his first reporter job and make the trip to West Texas.
Noe grew up in a household with his mom, dad, and two sisters in East Los Angeles.
He is a big sports fan. His favorite teams are the Dodgers, Lakers, Raiders, and Pumas de la UNAM.
Noe got into Journalism in college. He wanted to be an English major but took a journalism class instead and loved it.
His main goal is to become a sports reporter for a major sports team.
