WACO (March 15,2016) Portrait artist Kate Bradley creates commissioned paintings of children that capture their personality. By getting to know the kids she paints, she creates portraits that capture a child’s essential qualities. Her mission is to help kids know they are loved and valued for who they truly are.
Kate’s artistic pursuits began in elementary school and extended through college, where she earned a B.F.A. in Fine Art from Auburn University. From there, she studied figure painting at the Florence Academy of Art. Kate’s work has been featured at the Dixon Gallery in Memphis and is part of the permanent collection of the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge.
She recently married and moved to Waco, where her husband is a P.h.D. candidate in Baylor’s Sociology Department.
