Fort Hood: Soldier found dead in residence identified

Fort Hood Wednesday identified a soldier who was found dead in his off-post residence as Spc. Bradley Michael Acker, 25, of Canandaigua, N.Y.
Acker was found unresponsive on Friday at his residence in Copperas Cove, but no further details were provided.
Copperas Cove police are investigating, Fort Hood said.
Acker joined the Army in October 2010 and since October 2014 had been assigned to the 1st Cavalry Division’s 1st Air Cavalry Brigade.
