Officials identified a woman killed in a house fire over the weekend.
Around 10:15 a.m. firefighters with the Lacy Lakeview Fire Department responded to a home in the 200 block of South Joyce Street.
Fire Chief Patty Faulkner confirmed a 75-year-old Carolyn Larson was home at the time of the fire and died.
Larson's cousin, Sharon Farnsworth said her cousin suffered from diabetes and had bad vision.
“All we know is her husband left this morning to go to the grocery store and a fire started,” Farnsworth said. “It seemed to have been in the front of the house but they found her toward the back of the house.”
The Lacy Lakeview Fire Department and the State Fire Marshal's office are investigating.
Cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
