WACO, Texas (KWTX) Women United, a part of United Way that specifically focuses on women, hosted their second annual style show and brunch Saturday.

The event took place at the Hippodrome Theater and began with a silent auction of items donated by business women throughout McLennan County.

This all led up to a fashion show was held inside the theater, with women all across McLennan County wearing different clothes from designers like Girogio's G2 and Worth New York.

The chair of the event Sarah Pick was enthusiastic saying, “It’s a team of women who put it together, for women, and it’s just gonna be a fun day everyone will enjoy. I think it’s just really neat because it’s women raising money for women!”

In addition to the auction, raffles were held and sponsors that Sarah believes will lead to around $20,000 going toward women's scholarships.
