Magnolia's 'Bakery at the Silos' opens to the public

WACO, Texas (KWTX) For “Fixer Upper” fans looking for their sweet fix, the wait is officially over.

HGTV stars Joanna and Chip Gaines opened their bakery at the Magnolia Silos in downtown Waco to the public Wednesday morning.

The Gaines’ spokesman, Brock Murphy, confirmed the news to News 10 Wednesday.

The lines were already long as of lunchtime.

While the bakery is referred to as “Magnolia Flour” on the couple’s website, Murphy says the name will be “The Bakery at the Silos.”

The menu includes everything from cinnamon rolls to cranberry orange biscuits and even a cupcake called the “Shiplap,” a nod to Chip and Joanna’s designing choice of a rough-sawn pine paneling often used in barns and historic homes.

The bakery is located on the corner of 6th and Webster at the Magnolia Market property, in a newly renovated building that once housed RoseTree Floral.

The hours of operation will be 7:30am to 6pm Monday through Saturday, while the Magnolia Market is also open.
