ROBERTSON COUNTY, Tex. (KBTX) - Traffic was flowing again Wednesday after a pair of collisions that shut down State Highway 6 in Robertson County Wednesday.
The first accident happened at around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday between the Old Fractec Building and the weigh station on the highway and involved an 18-wheeler and a pickup truck that was pulling a boat.
The driver of the pickup tried to make a U-turn in front of the 18-wheeler, Department of Public Safety troopers said.
The driver of the 18-wheeler was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the pickup will be cited for the U-turn, authorities said.
The second accident occurred south of the initial crash.
