Accidental shooting at pawnshop sends man to local hospital

An accidental shooting Thursday in the parking lot of a Killeen pawnshop sent a man to a local hospital.
The shooting was reported just before 12:25 p.m. Thursday in the parking lot of Action Pawn at 1107 South Fort Hood St.
A police spokeswoman said a man was in his car in the parking lot clearing a weapon when it accidentally discharged.
The shot struck the man in the leg.
He was taken to Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center.
