FORT MYERS, Fla. (AP) An uninvited guest tried to crash a Florida family’s Thanksgiving feast and the family simply ignored the knocking.

Rude?

Not really, considering that it was an alligator at the door.

Homeowner Chhaa Behary says when she heard the knocking, she saw a “gigantic” alligator repeatedly smacking the door with its tail.

CBS Miami reports the woman’s fiancé called animal control and workers got the gator away.

Behary wonders if the gator could smell the turkey she was making.
