Amazon launches free one-day shipping in Central Texas

Amazon is now offering free one-day shipping on many items to customers in Central Texas.

You must be an Amazon Prime member, and the order must be at least $35 to qualify for the one-day shipping.

The service is only offered to select cities in the U.S., and officially became available in Waco, Temple, Killeen and surrounding areas this week.

According to Amazon’s website, qualifying orders placed by the afternoon will be delivered by 9pm the next day.

Amazon Prime customers have traditionally received free two-day shipping on most items. An annual Amazon Prime subscription costs $99 a year.
