Another Central Texas man snared in online child sex sting
A Central Texas man was arrested following a brief chase Tuesday in Bellmead after arriving to meet who he thought was a 14-year-old girl for sex, police say.
The man set up the meeting after communicating with a Bellmead police detective who was posing online as a 14-year-old girl.
The man sent “multiple sexually suggestive messages” and “eventually solicited the decoy to meet for sex.”
He arrived at the agreed upon location at around 3 p.m. Tuesday and then attempted to flee, but drove only a short distance before pulling into a dead end, where he was forced to stop, police said.
David Eugene Loveless, 42, of Valley Mills was arrested and faces charges of online solicitation of a minor and evading in a motor vehicle, police said.
