QAYARA AIR BASE, Iraq (AP) The U.S.-led coalition is pulling out of a second base in Iraq this month, in line with a planned drawdown of troops.

The pullout started hours after two rockets struck inside Baghdad's heavily fortified Green Zone early on Thursday, the seat of the government and home to the U.S. Embassy.

Iraqi officials also say the U.S. renewed a sanctions waiver enabling Iraq to import crucial gas and electricity from Iran, but with a shorter deadline.

Qayara is the second Iraqi base that coalition-troops are pulling out from this month.

Coalition spokesman Myles Caggins says several hundred troops would depart the base in coming days.
