KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) The assistant manager of the Killeen Best Buy store has died in a two-vehicle crash.

Joshua David Moya Cowdrey, 31, was headed east just before noon Monday on State Highway 138 in Williamson County when his 1997 Toyota Tacoma collided with a westbound Jeep Wrangler in a heavy fog.

Cowdrey was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Wrangler told investigators he saw headlights and felt the impact, but has no other recollection of the crash, Department of Public Safety Sgt. Robbie Barrera said.

Both vehicles had front-end damage, Barrera said.

The driver of the Wrangler and his passenger were taken to a Round Rock hospital.

Their injuries were not life-threatening.

Cowdrey’s coworkers have established a GoFundMe account to help his wife and three young children.
