A ruling is pending in the death of a woman found unresponsive in a car outside a home in a Copperas Cove residential neighborhood, according to a preliminary medical examiners report released Wednesday.
Patricia Kay Herron, 32, was breathing, but unresponsive, when friends found her Monday.
The friends and then police and firefighters all performed CPR, but were unable to resuscitate Herron, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The preliminary report released Wednesday says a cause of death ruling is pending completion of toxicology and other tests.
Foul play isn’t suspected, police said, but no further details were released Tuesday.
