Bank inside local H-E-B robbed for 2nd time in less than a month

TEMPLE, Texas (KWTX) Police were investigating Tuesday after a bank inside the H-E-B store at 1314. West Adams Ave. in Temple was robbed for the second time in less than a month.

The robbery was reported last Friday at the First Convenience Bank inside the store, police said.

A man approached the bank counter, demanded money and escaped on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robber was Hispanic, about 5-foot-6 with a slim build, and was wearing a black baseball cap, a gray hooded sweatshirt and khaki shorts, police said.

A woman robbed the same bank on Sept, 11.

The next day Briana Joyce Holamon, 22, was arrested in connection with the robbery was taken to a federal holding facility in Waco.

No injuries were reported in either robbery.
