Stabbing at motel sends man to local hospital

A man who was stabbed repeatedly early Tuesday at a motel in Bellmead was in intensive care Tuesday afternoon with wounds to his face, head and body.
Police did not immediately release the name of the 31-year-old victim.
Officers responded to a report of the stabbing just after 3 a.m. Tuesday at the Delta Inn at 1320 Behrens Circle.
They found the man in a room at the motel, police said.
The stabbing is under investigation, police said.
No further details were released.
