Bellmead: Fire destroys RV behind local home

Fire tore through a recreational vehicle Thursday morning behind a home in Bellmead.
Firefighters from Bellmead and Lacy Lakeview were sent at about 8:10 a.m. to a home in the 1600 block of Bowie Street after a caller reported the trailer was ablaze.
When the first fire crew arrived they reported the trailer engulfed.
Bellmead Fire Marshal Bill Hlavenka said it wasn’t clear who, if anyone, was living in the RV, which he said was a total loss.
No one was injured in the fire and the blaze remains under investigation.
