TEMPLE, Texas (KWTX) Hundreds of Central Texans got on their motorcycles and rode for a great cause Sunday.

The 27th annual Tri County Toy Run took place Sunday afternoon, as people from the area either donated a $10 or a new toy as a way of entry.

Hundreds of motorcyles, jeeps, and cars began at the American Legion post in Temple.

The group were escorted through Bell, Coryell, and Lampasas County.

Organizers say the gifts will go towards 20 different charities that help children in the area, and estimated around 30 thousand dollars worth of toys were raised in this year's ride.
