Investigators say they’ve made an arrest in the death of a Texas woman whose body was discovered in a West Texas trash bin.

Andres Ramirez, 30, was held Thursday on a murder charge in the shooting death of Camille Garcia, 24.

A resident found Garcia dead Tuesday afternoon in a dumpster in north San Angelo.

The sheriff's office described her as a "young mother."

The Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office said investigators determined Ramirez was a person of interest in the death.

A deputy who knew that Ramirez didn't have a valid driver's license stopped his vehicle Wednesday.

Officials say Ramirez had a loaded pistol.

Officials didn't immediately provide a possible motive for the shooting or how the pair knew each other.

Online records didn't list an attorney to speak for Ramirez.

Bond was $250,000.
