A local Chipotle restaurant that was forced to close after a car slammed into its building was back in business Monday, even as repair work continues.

A Chipotle restaurant in Waco that was forced to close after a car slammed into its building early last Thursday was back in business Monday, even as repair work continues.

The car slammed into the restaurant in the 1100 block of North Valley Mills Drive before dawn last Thursday.

No one was hurt, but the building was damaged.

On Monday plywood covered windows that shattered in crash.

Repair work will be done overnight to avoid interfering with business, the restaurant said Monday.
