Central Texas attorney to help represent Las Vegas shooting victim
A local attorney will be among those representing one of the victims of the Las Vegas concert massacre.
Fifty-eight people died and hundreds were injured the night of Sunday, October 1, when a gunman opened fire on the crowd at a country music festival from his hotel room.
Michelle Tuegel of the Waco firm Hunt and Tuegel will help a 21-year-old college student from California with a lawsuit against the resort and several other groups.
Page Gasper was hit by a bullet fired by Stephen Paddock from the floor 32 of Mandalay Bay Resort.
She faces months of rehab, recovery and surgeries.
The suit names MGM Resorts International, Mandalay Corp., Live Nation Entertainment, Inc., Slide Fire Solutions, LP and the Estate of Stephen Paddock.
Slide Fire Solutions manufactures bump stock devices,
Tuegel is teaming up with a number of other attorneys.
Mo Aziz of Houston will be the lead attorney.
