Deputy Limestone County District Clerk Barri Uhl, who was arrested Tuesday night after a traffic stop, was free on bond Wednesday.
Department of Public Safety troopers pulled her over at around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday on a rural Limestone County road just south of Mexia, authorities said Wednesday.
She was charged with driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest and assault on a public servant, authorities said.
She was released from the Limestone County Jail after posting bonds totaling $15,000.
The Limestone County District Clerk’s Office confirmed Wednesday Uhl works as a deputy in the office.
