Coryell County deputies seized hundreds of marijuana plants and made four arrests Tuesday in a raid on a rural marijuana farm at 115 Spotted Fawn south of Gatesville, the Coryell County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release Wednesday.
A resident’s complaint led to the raid, which also involved Gatesville police, Texas Department of Public Safety troopers and Coryell County game wardens.
Christian Brown, 21; Jeffery Reamer, 62; Thomas Brown, 52 and Stacy Brown, 54, were arrested and were charged with possession of marijuana over 5 pounds, but less than 50 pounds.
Additional charges are possible, the sheriff’s office said.
Authorities seized a total of 585 marijuana plants ranging in height from 1 foot to 6 feet as well as 10 pounds of what they described as a “ground” substance they believe to be marijuana.
They also seized six jars containing what’s believed to be THC “butter”—an edible form of cannabis—and eight jars of what’s believed to be THC oil.
