Central Texas man charged with online solicitation of a minor

KEMPNER, Texas (KWTX) A Kempner man who arrived for a meeting arranged with an 11-year-old “with the intention of engaging in sexual acts with the child” has been charged with online solicitation of a minor, the Texas Attorney General’s Office announced in a press release Monday.

Christopher Carl Camacho was arrested when he arrived at the meeting location and was taken to the Lampasas County Jail, according to the press release.

“The Lampasas County Sheriff’s Office referred this case to the Attorney General’s Office following an investigation of sexually explicit communications between Camacho and (the) 11-year-old child,” Attorney General Ken Paxton said.
