GATESVILLE, Texas (KWTX) A Gatesville man was jailed Wednesday charged with two counts of sexual assault of a child after an investigation that started nearly a year ago with the discovery that a screen had been removed from the window of the alleged victim’s home.
Josue Antonio Molina, 20 was arrested Tuesday.
He’s held in the Milam County Jail because of overflow in the Coryell County Jail.
His bonds total $150,000.
The investigation that led to the charges started on June 19, 2017, after Gatesville police responded to a report that a screen had been removed from the window of the home of an underage girl with whom Molina, who was 19 at the time, is accused of having sex, authorities said Wednesday.
A similar incident occurred involving the same girl on March 27, 2017, authorities said.
