Bobby Ray Lockett, Sr., 56, of Hot Springs, Ark., is headed to prison after he was convicted on two counts of aggravated sexual assault for drugging and raping two girls in May 2015.
Lockett, who was convicted Monday, was sentenced to 16 years in prison on each count, but will serve the sentences concurrently.
The two victims, one of whom was 13 at the time of the incident according to an arrest warrant affidavit, told investigators they went to “Bobby’s” house on South 20th Street in Temple on May 9, 2015 where they were given “bars.”
After taking the pills, the girls woke up on a mattress in a backroom where Lockett and a second man, identified as Byron Keith Lemons, 55, were having sex with them, the affidavit says.
DNA evidence confirmed the two men had sex with the 13-year-old, the affidavit says.
Lemons was convicted of one count of aggravated sexual assault of a child in August 20-17 and was sentenced to an eight-year term.
