A McLennan County jury Thursday sentenced Wilford Hall, 46, to a total of 520 years in prison and fined him $100,000 after convicting him on four counts of aggravated sexual assault, five counts of sexual assault of a child and one count of indecency with a child.

Hall received life sentences on each of the aggravated sexual assault counts, 20-year sentences for each of the sexual assault child counts and the indecency with a child count, prosecutors said.

The judge ordered that he serve the sentences consecutively.

The charges stem from an investigation that started in 2011 after the victim reported she had been abused over a period of several years starting when she was 13.

“This brave survivor can now put this horrific chapter of her life behind her and know that he will never hurt another young girl in our community again,” Assistant District Attorney Sydney Tuggle said.
