Central Texas sheriff in serious condition after heart attack

Milam County Sheriff David Greene, 65, was in serious but stable condition Thursday after suffering a heart attack while on vacation in Oregon.
Greene had a heart attack Tuesday night and was taken to a hospital in Salem, Ore.
Late Wednesday he was transferred to a hospital in Portland.
Further details have not been released.
