WACO, Texas (KWTX) The Chick-fil-A on Franklin Avenue in Waco will close on Friday, January 17th so crews can remodel its kitchen.

The restaurant will remain closed until "early March," according to a Facebook post.

The restaurant said it will continue to serve customers with its food truck, but the menu and hours will be limited.

The food truck will be set up in the Walmart parking lot directly behind the Franklin location from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Management also encourages patrons to visit the Chick-fil-A inside the Richland Mall. "Many of our Team Members will be working in the mall so we hope to still see you," it said on Facebook.

"Our goal in this remodel is to better meet our guests needs and also the needs of our Team Members. We appreciate your patience and loyalty as we kick off this process and can’t wait for all that is to come."
