A Harker Heights man and woman arrested in November were named in indictments Wednesday charging them in connection with an aggravated kidnapping.

Bobbi Battishia White, 37, was arrested in mid-November and was ordered held on a $500,000 bond on a charge of interference with child custody, Bell County Jail records show.

She was released to the U.S. Marshal’s Service a short time later and was in federal custody Friday but it wasn’t clear where.

Tutankhamun Holt, 34, remained in custody in the Bell County Jail Friday where he was ordered held on bonds totaling $1,010,000, charged with aggravated kidnapping, interference with child custody, assault causing bodily injury family member and interference with an emergency call, online jail records showed.

Both were indicted on one count each of interference with child custody and Holt also was indicted for aggravated kidnapping.

Harker Heights police were sent on Nov. 12 to the Cinemark Theater after a caller reported he had been assaulted by another man and the assailant left with the victim’s 7-year-old daughter.

An affidavit for arrest warrant said the victim and his daughter were walking to their car after seeing a movie when a man and woman drove up.

The affidavit said a man got out of the car, punched the victim in the stomach and forced the child to get into the car.

When the victim got to his own car he found the tires slashed, the police report says.
