TEMPLE, Texas (KWTX) An early-morning house fire Monday in Temple displaced a family of four.
The fire was reported at around 1:40 a.m. Monday in the 1800 block of South 33rd Street.
Heavy smoke was coming from the garage and the eaves of the house when the first crews arrived.
The fire started in the garage, officials said.
The garage was damaged by fire, heat and smoke and the rest of the house by smoke.
The cause is listed as undetermined, but unintentional.
Damages are estimated at $50,000.
The four residents are staying with relatives.
