Fiery rollover on rural area road leaves one dead

One person died Thursday afternoon when a dump truck hauling a load of manure overturned and burst into flames on Box Ranch Road southwest of Lorena.

First responders from several departments including Lorena responded.

When they arrived, they found the truck on fire and on its side with the driver trapped inside.

A helicopter was put on standby, but was canceled after authorities determined the driver was dead.

Crews closed a portion of the road while the wreck was cleared.

The victim's name wasn't immediately released.
