GROESBECK, Texas (KWTX) A Limestone County deputy’s dashboard camera was rolling as he swerved to avoid a head-on crash with a vehicle whose driver was later charged with driving while intoxicated.

Cpl. Marc Waller wasn’t injured in the near-collision at around 12:45 a.m. on Feb. 2, the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post that included one of the last frames recorded by the camera before he swerved off the road to avoid the crash.

He was able to return to the roadway and pull over the vehicle, which “was later determined to been driven by someone who had just left a bar.”
