At least three four people were arrested in a series of raids on massage parlors in Temple, Harker Heights and Killeen Wednesday.

Temple police served warrants Wednesday at massage parlors at 918 South 31st St., 1407 South 31st St. and 2810 Oakdale Dr.

Qian Xinghua, 68, was arrested at 918 South 31st for working in a massage parlor without a license, police said Thursday.

Yihua Zhang, 58, was arrested at 1407 South 31st for promotion of prostitution.

Sun Aixia, 54, Xiao Xin Zhang, 58, were arrested at 2810 Oakdale for working in a massage parlor without a proper license.

Bell County deputies executed a warrant at a massage parlor Wednesday morning in Harker Heights.

Deputies at Q Massage in the 100 block of FM 2410 declined to comment.

The raid was a joint operation that also involved the Bell County District Attorney’s Office and Harker Heights police.

Further details were not available.

Meanwhile the Texas Attorney General's Office confirmed a raid at the Royal Spa on West Jasper Drive Wednesday in Killeen, but wouldn't elaborate.

“Just men all the time- something was going on besides massages,” says Herman Handy who can see the business from his front porch.

He has noticed questionable activity going on there for quite some time.

“We had joked about it quite a bit, guys coming out still kind of half-dressed and so forth,” he says.

He’s seen the business open as late as midnight, so he wasn’t surprised when cops showed up midday Wednesday.

There was reportedly a SWAT officer there, and witnesses confirm soon after, the shop was closed for business.

“I've heard about the massage parlors getting raided. I knew it was just a matter of time before that happened,” adds Handy.
