Driver dies in crash with Texas fire department ambulance

DALLAS, Texas (KWTX) A driver who evidently ran a red light died after his car slammed into a Dallas Fire Department ambulance early Sunday.

Luis Cabrera, 28, was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The two paramedics aboard the ambulance were injured and were taken to a hospital.

One was treated and later released, but the other was more seriously injured and remains hospitalized.

The paramedics were responding to an emergency call with lights and siren at the time of the accident.
