Moody: Eight residents including 5 children displaced by fire

Fire raced through a manufactured home Tuesday, leaving three adults and five children from kindergarten to high school age homeless.
Firefighters from several departments responded to the fire, which was reported at around 11:45 a.m. Tuesday at 1310 Old Country Road in Moody.
Flames had engulfed the home by the time the first crews arrived.
Three vehicles parked outside the home were also destroyed by fire.
An adjacent residence received smoke damage.
No injuries were reported.
The American Red Cross was asked to assist the residents.
