TEMPLE, Texas (KWTX) A former Killeen ISD employee was named in a two-count aggravated sexual assault indictment Wednesday stemming from incidents involving a Temple girl who was not a student in the district.

Jason Lee Jones, 42, of Killeen, remains in the Bell County Jail where he’s held in lieu of $125,000 bond.

The charges stem from repeated sexual assaults of a girl younger than 14, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.

Adult members of the girl’s family told Temple investigators that the victim told them that Jones “had engaged in sexual contact” with her, and the girl later told a forensic interviewer at the Child Advocacy Center of Central Texas that Jones had intercourse with her, the affidavit says.

In a subsequent interview with an investigator, Jones “denied sexual contact with (the girl), but admitted to being sexually attracted to her.”

In a later interview with a Child Protective Services investigator, however, “Jones admitted to multiple instances of sexual assault including a time at the Temple residence where Jones’ sexual organ penetrated (the girl’s) sexual organ,” the affidavit says.

Jones was arrested in December after the victim made an outcry in November.
