CALDWELL, Texas (KWTX) A former Caldwell teacher has been arrested at the Mexico border on a warrant out of Burleson County charging an improper relationship with a student.

In September 2017, Aracely Sauceda, 24, turned herself in at the Burleson County Jail on charges of an improper relationship with a student and indecency with a child charges after school and county officials found evidence of a relationship with a 16-year-old boy.

She posted a $50,000 bond and was released the same day.

According to the Burleson County District Attorney's Office, following further investigations, officials added a second improper relationship with a student charge for Sauceda on which she was never formally indicted, automatically issuing a warrant for her arrest.

At some point after posting bond, Sauceda went to Mexico.

On, March 7, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers arrested Sauceda at the Progreso International Bridge as she was attempting to re-enter the United States.

Sauceda was turned over to the Hidalgo County Jail and bonded out Friday.

The former Caldwell Spanish teacher is expected to appear in court on March 19
