Family of six displaced by house fire

Six members of a Killeen familyl are displaced after their house went up in flames Tuesday evening.

Crews responded to the scene in the 300 block of Little Dipper Drive just before 8 p.m.

Fire officials said four children were inside the house when the fire started, but they all managed to get out safely.

Crews said the fire spread into the attic and it took several hours to put the fire out.

The house is a total loss.

Authorities said there is currently no evidence of arson but there is significant damage they still have to investigate.

They said the mother, her boyfriend and her children are currently staying at their neighbor's home.
