COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KWTX) A one-vehicle crash early Tuesday shut down portions of State Highway 6 in College Station.

Officers who responded to the crash at around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday found a vehicle overturned and the driver dead inside.

The highway access road between William D. Fitch and Barron Road was shut down because of the crash, KBTX in Bryan reported, but has since reopened.

Police say the driver, whose name wasn’t immediately released, was headed north on the access road when his car veered off the road and overturned.
