Authorities identify victims of fiery crash that left 3 dead, 6 injured

Authorities have identified the three people who died in a fiery early-morning crash on Highway 105 East, east of Navasota that left six others injured as Keaton Anthony Bussell, 18 of Montgomery, Richard Michael Thomas, 55, of College Station and Jesse Conzalo Gallegos, 36 of Bryan.
The crash happened about 6:30 a.m. Thursday on Highway 105 East near County Road 362 at Grass Creek.
A Department of Public Safety investigation found that a pickup heading west on Highway 105 crossed into the eastbound lane, in a no-passing zone, and hit a van head-on.
A second pickup sustained minor damage in the crash.
The first pickup caught fire following the collision.
The Navasota Fire Department responded to put out the flames.
Bussell, the driver of the first pickup, and Thomas, the driver of the van both died in the crash.
Gallegos, who was a passenger in the van, was also killed.
One of the six other passengers in the van was airlifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston in critical condition.
Three were transported by ambulance to CHI St. Joseph Health Hospital in Bryan and two were transported by ambulance to Baylor Scott & White Hospital in College Station.
