KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) A car that burst into flames inside a body shop at a Killeen car dealership Wednesday night caught on fire again early Thursday.

The first fire was reported at around 9:15 p.m. Wednesday at Maxdale Auto Sales in the 5600 block of South Fort Hood Street in Killeen.

Killeen firefighters extinguished the flames, but left the burned-out car inside the shop, where the fire rekindled at around 6:30 a.m. Thursday.

The building, which the dealership leases to the body shop, received smoke, heat, and water damage.

Several other vehicles in the building escaped damage.
